Later this year, the Large Hadron Collider, the world's largest and most energetic particle accelerator, will come on line at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland. One of the first tasks will be "rediscovering the Standard Model". I will discuss both early and precision QCD and electroweak measurements that will be performed using the ATLAS detector.
