During this talk I will review recent results from reactor neutrino experiments and their dominant systematics uncertainties. I will then describe the dominant systematic errors for accelerator long baseline neutrino experiments with a focus on how difficult it is for such experiments to reach the same precision as the reactor experiments. I will focus my attention on describing the effects of nuclear models on the neutrino energy reconstruction and I will mention what that implies for the near future long baseline experiments that aim to measure CP violation in the neutrino sector.
