The Physics Division has established a laboratory for the production of accelerator targets, primarily in support of the Low-Energy Nuclear Physics Program undertaken at the ATLAS Facility. Over the years the target laboratory has grown to accommodate more than just ATLAS requests; including work involving radioactive targets and material handling, detector development, and more recently, medical isotope production. This talk will cover a brief introduction to the Target Laboratory, the present activities, and what’s been happening during the current shutdown. Also to be presented is a look to the future and, if time allows, other areas of Target Laboratory support to the Physics Division.
